Nose: Tropical fruits, hints of smoke and lots of citrus.
Palate: Earth aromas dance in circles. Chocolate, liqurice and coffee beans become distinctive as it was a Port cask matured whisky.Finish: Medium long and lingering. Sherry becomes more and more affective as the liquid gets warmer.
A wonderful SMWS whisky. Worth every year of 21 years. Very mature, charismatic and strong. Sherry casks gives the fruitiness with earth and spice character.
Energy I got from it was amazing. Total thumbs up. Worth every penny that is spent.
