Macallan Amber

In Whisky by Keyif AdamıLeave a Comment

Country: Scotland – Speyside
Distillery: The Macallan
Type: Single Malt
Cask: Sherry (Jerez)
ABV: 40%

Nose: Vanilla, lemon, grape paste and ginger creates an aromatic nose.
Palate: A chewable dram with figs, dates, sultanas and cinnamon.
Finish: There comes vanilla again which balances spices. A short one though.

The Macallan 1824 series is composed of non age statement whiskies. Distillery says that the darker the color, the older the whisky is. This single malt is a great entrance to Macallan.
